The conditions of carriage that apply every time you book a shipment with pricedeliveriestrucking.
SECTION 01The agreement
These terms form the contract between the sender ("you") and pricedeliveriestrucking LLC ("pricedeliveriestrucking", "we") for every shipment booked through our website, phone lines, branches or pickup executives. The waybill issued at booking is part of this contract.
SECTION 02Booking and the sender's responsibilities
- You must provide accurate sender and receiver names, complete addresses with ZIP codes, working phone numbers, and a truthful description of the contents and their value.
- You confirm that you own the contents or are authorised to ship them, and that they are legal to transport to the destination.
- Contents must be packed adequately for road, rail or air transit. We may refuse or re-pack (at cost) shipments that are unsafe to carry.
- Chargeable weight is the higher of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H in inches ÷ 139). Shipments are re-weighed at our hub; differences are billed or refunded.
SECTION 03Prohibited items
We do not carry, and you must not book, shipments containing:
- Currency, bullion, precious stones and negotiable instruments;
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives and fireworks;
- Narcotics and substances controlled or prohibited by law;
- Flammable liquids, compressed gases, corrosives and other dangerous goods, except under a written dangerous-goods agreement;
- Live animals, human remains, and perishables not accepted in writing;
- Counterfeit goods and items that infringe intellectual-property rights;
- Anything whose carriage would violate any applicable law or airline regulation.
We may open and inspect any shipment for safety or on the direction of authorities. Prohibited items may be handed over to authorities without compensation, and resulting costs are billed to the sender.
SECTION 04Delivery timelines
Transit times shown at booking are estimates based on normal operations. They are commitments only for services expressly sold as time-bound (e.g. Express Air with a committed date on the waybill). Delays caused by weather, strikes, accidents, regulatory action, customs or other events beyond our control do not create liability, though we will always inform you and reroute where possible.
SECTION 05Payment
- Charges are payable at booking (prepaid) or as agreed in a business account's credit terms.
- Cash-on-delivery (COD) amounts collected from receivers are remitted to sellers per the remittance cycle in their service agreement.
- Duties, taxes and customs charges on international shipments are payable by the receiver unless the waybill states otherwise; unpaid amounts may be billed back to the sender.
SECTION 06Liability and insurance
- For uninsured shipments, our liability for loss or damage is limited to $100 or the invoice value of the contents, whichever is lower.
- Declared-value insurance may be purchased at booking for up to the declared value of the contents, subject to premium and documentation.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, missed deadlines or business interruption.
- Claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery (damage) or within 30 days of booking (loss), following the process in our Return Policy.
SECTION 07Undeliverable shipments
Shipments that cannot be delivered after all attempts are handled under our Return Policy. Shipments unclaimed by both receiver and sender for 60 days after RTO notice may be disposed of, and any proceeds first applied to unpaid charges.
SECTION 08Website use
Content on pricedeliveriestrucking.com — including text, logos and the pricedeliveriestrucking name — belongs to us and may not be copied for commercial use. Tracking information is provided for the parties to a shipment; automated scraping of our tracking systems is not permitted.
SECTION 09Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the booking date of a shipment applies to that shipment.
SECTION 10Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Harris County, Texas, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your state.
