Return Policy

What happens when a shipment can't be delivered, how return-to-origin (RTO) works, and when shipping charges are refunded.

LAST UPDATED: 01 AUGUST 2026 · APPLIES TO ALL PRICEDELIVERIESTRUCKING SHIPMENTS BOOKED IN THE UNITED STATES

SECTION 01Delivery attempts

We make up to three delivery attempts on consecutive working days at the address on the waybill. After each failed attempt, the receiver gets an SMS with the reason (address not found, receiver unavailable, premises closed, payment not ready for COD, etc.) and the next attempt date.

SECTION 02Return to origin (RTO)

  • If all three attempts fail, or the receiver refuses the shipment, it is marked RTO and returned to the sender's address.
  • The sender is informed by SMS and email before the return journey begins, with a 24-hour window to provide a corrected address or ask us to hold the shipment at the destination branch (held up to 7 days).
  • Return transit uses the same service level as the forward journey unless the sender requests otherwise.

SECTION 03RTO charges

  • Refused by receiver / receiver unavailable: return shipping is charged at 50% of the forward rate.
  • Incorrect or incomplete address given at booking: return shipping is charged at the full forward rate.
  • Our error (wrong routing, missed attempts not made, mis-delivery): the return is free and the forward charge is refunded in full.

SECTION 04Refunds on shipping charges

  • Pickup not completed: if we fail to pick up a prepaid booking within the promised window and you cancel, you receive a 100% refund within 5–7 working days.
  • Service failure: for Express Air shipments delivered more than 48 hours after the committed date due to our fault, the difference between Express and Ground rates is refunded.
  • Cancellation before pickup: free cancellation any time before the pickup executive scans the parcel. After the first scan, the booking cannot be cancelled, only redirected or returned as RTO.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Cash bookings are refunded by bank transfer after you share account details with support.

SECTION 05Claims for loss or damage

  • Report loss or visible damage within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery) at claims@pricedeliveriestrucking.com with your AWB number, booking receipt and photos of the packaging and contents.
  • Compensation for uninsured shipments is limited to the liability stated in our Terms & Conditions. For shipments booked with declared-value insurance, claims are settled up to the declared value.
  • Claims are acknowledged within 2 working days and settled within 15 working days of receiving complete documents.

SECTION 06Items we cannot return or compensate

  • Shipments containing prohibited items (see Terms & Conditions) — these may be confiscated by authorities and carry no compensation.
  • Perishables that spoiled because the receiver was unavailable across all delivery attempts.
  • Damage to contents caused by inadequate internal packing where the outer packaging arrived intact.

SECTION 07E-commerce seller returns

For sellers on our E-commerce Shipping plans, customer-initiated reverse pickups are governed by your rate card and service agreement, which may differ from this general policy. Contact business@pricedeliveriestrucking.com for your plan's terms.

SECTION 08How to start a return or refund request

  1. Keep your AWB number ready (e.g. PDT-4471-8802-US).
  2. Email care@pricedeliveriestrucking.com.
  3. You'll receive a reference number and status updates by SMS until the request is closed.
